Document access policy

MNCRIP holds one document library covering the platform and the Climate Resilience Investment Fund. The brochure is open to anyone; the other 20 sit behind a single access code. There are no permission levels and no per-document approvals: a code holder can read everything.

The catalogue — titles, page counts and summaries — is public either way, so you can see what exists before asking for it.

How access works

    Start with the brochure

    A two-page overview of the platform, open to anyone with no code and no request.

  2. 02

    Ask

    For the rest, tell the Secretariat who you are, the organisation you act for, and what you are evaluating.

  3. 03

    Unlock

    Codes are issued at the MNCRIP stand and by the Secretariat. Enter yours once; it lasts 12 hours on that device — one conference day.

  4. 04

    Read everything

    All 21 documents, 386 pages, platform and fund. Nothing is held back from a code holder.

Why there are no access levels

A simpler model, honestly described.

Institutional data rooms often publish a ladder of permission levels — registered, authorised, due diligence, restricted, transaction. MNCRIP does not, because MNCRIP holds one library, and a party trusted enough to receive a code is trusted with all of it.

There are two states, and only two. A document is open, or it is behind the code. One document — the brochure — is open, because a two-page overview is the thing nobody should have to ask for. The code covers everything else, in one step.

Publishing levels the system does not implement would be a promise we could not keep. If graduated access is introduced later, it will be because the access system genuinely enforces it.

Versions

Every document in the library is final.

Where a document carries an edition or series label on its cover page, the library reproduces it next to the title. Rely on the version you were given: documents are superseded from time to time, and the library always serves the current one.

Confidentiality

Shared for evaluation, not published.

Library material is provided for evaluation. Where a document or a transaction requires a non-disclosure agreement, the Secretariat will say so and put one in place before that material is released.

  • Obligations continue after the discussion ends

Nothing in the library is an offer

Documents in the library are provided for information and evaluation. Access is personal and revocable.

Attempting to bypass the gate, redistributing library material, or misrepresenting your identity or organisation may result in access being withdrawn, and in further action where appropriate.
